Statistical report of earthquakes

 from 23July to 22 August 2009

Seimic networks of IRSC recorded more than 930 earthquakes in Iran from  23July to 22 August .

Figure 1 shows number of earthquakes with respect to magnitude from 23July to 22 August and Figure 2 shows location of earthquake epicenters.

Eight earthquakes with magnitude grater than 4 have been recorded in this mounth.

The biggest event occured near Chamestan in Mazandaran province.
